Dallas Cowboys DL No. 2

Patrick Jones II, EDGE, Pittsburgh

The Dallas Cowboys have a great EDGE rusher in DeMarcus Lawrence. Adding Patrick Jones II would give them a DeMarcus Lawrence type EDGE rusher to play on the opposite side of the defensive line. Jones would record nine sacks in the 2020 College Football Season and would add 44 total tackles.

Patrick Jones II has put together two great seasons for the Pittsburgh Panthers in his junior and senior seasons. During his four years at Pittsburgh, Patrick Jones II would record 115 total tackles. He would add to his total tackles by recording 21.5 sacks and five forced fumbles in his four-year college career.

When pulling up film on Patrick Jones II one thing stands out. His explosiveness off the ball is incredible. He is fast off the edge and flattens out great when working around offensive tackles and possesses the strength to not get pushed out by offensive tackles.

Patrick Jones II also showed his pass rushing skills are top notch. He has shown in college that his length could be an issue for offensive lineman. Jones II has top not rush moves and secondary rush moves. He would be a great addition to play on the opposite side of DeMarcus Lawrence.
