With the 27-24 win by the National Team over the American Team, Senior Bowl week has officially come to an end. NFL teams like the Dallas Cowboys exit the experience having learned much about some of the biggest question marks in the draft.

From small school kids, to prospects who opted out the 2020 season, questions were answered and the Dallas Cowboys adjusted their draft board accordingly. After word came the NFL Combine would effectively be a virtual affair without drills or workouts, the Senior Bowl became all the more important.

This past week was the last chance the Dallas Cowboys have been able to see players compete and workout on a level playing field and in a competitive environment. This year’s festivities are sure to hold more water than any Senior Bowl has before.

Here’s who the Dallas Cowboys should be tracking in the Draft after an impressive Senior Bowl week

So let’s take a look at some of the players who flashed. Guys who separated from the pack and possibly earned their way onto the Dallas Cowboys hit list.

We start with the top standout at safety…

SAF Richie Grant

Central Florida

Richie Grant has been a hot name in Dallas Cowboys draft circles for a couple weeks now, but it’s not just group-think and confirmation bias that gets him on this list. It’s his ability to play football that made him standout to scouts everywhere this week.

Grant made plays on the ball, he showed effectiveness in run-support, he showed the range needed for a team looking to add a player to play single high safety (the Dallas Cowboys) and he even showed his ability to man up at corner and play outside and in the slot.

Grant proved to be a high-character guy adored by his teammates and coaches alike. The question now isn’t whether or not he’ll be worth Dallas’ second pick. It’s if he’ll even make it to Dallas in the second round.
