There are a ton of storylines for the Dallas Stars during the 2021 offseason. After a disappointing season, there is much to do before they drop the puck again in October. The Stars were coming off a magical run in the Edmonton bubble last season. Missing the playoffs was not part of the plan for this group and they know just how close they were to their third straight playoff berth.

They will look to return to the form of the defending Western Conference champions which will take some work this summer. While there are sure to be some new faces on the Stars’ roster next season, they hope to keep their core group together and add some help to solidify a run.

Many believe that their championship window comes and goes with the next few years. With their core veterans and the emergence of so many young players, the team believes that they are true contenders and would have been with a healthy lineup in 2021.
