Dallas Cowboys Defense

Defensive Line (11) DeMarcus Lawrence, Randy Gregory, Neville Gallimore, Brent Urban, Tarell Basham, Osa Odighizuwa, Chauncey Golston, Bradlee Anae, Ron’Dell Carter, Trysten Hill, Quinton Bohanna

The Dallas Cowboys went a little short on the O-line so they could go a little long here on the D-line. Tank and Gregory are set to have big seasons off the edge in 2021 while Basham and Anae back them up and rotate behind them.

Basham isn’t young, but he’s solid and allows the Cowboys to swing on a few high-risk /high-reward prospects. Anae saw less than 10 snaps last season on defense so it’s time to fix that and get the kid in the action.

Another player with a high ceiling is Ron’Dell Carter. The James Madison product has a tantalizing upside and the ability to playing inside and outside. The same goes for the rookie Chauncey Golston who figures to get consistent snaps as a run-stopping swing lineman.

Bohanna gets the job ahead of the veteran Calvin Watkins at back-up 1-tech. And Osa challenges second year man Gallimore for the starting 3-tech. Finally, we have Trysten Hill making the team based largely on flashes and potential. Hill still possess the explosiveness that made him Dallas’ top draft pick in 2019 and if we’re building a roster based on potential and developmental ability, Hill has to be on it.
