Dallas Cowboys Right Tackle: La’el Collins
The other bookend to the Dallas Cowboys offensive line is right tackle La’el Collins. Collins, 27, missed all of the 2020 season because of a bad hip and the subsequent surgery to correct it. It had been said he also showed up to The Star last year severely out of shape and overweight.
Whether the hip led to the weight or the weight to hip really doesn’t matter. What matters is that both get truly corrected. And both are, my friends.
Collins is fully recovered from his surgery last year and has appeared on social media in extraordinary shape this offseason. While it’s cheesy to say this time of year, it appears he’s in the best shape of his career. That bodes well for a guy trying to reestablish himself as one of the best in the league.
Last seen, Collins was operating at Pro Bowl levels at RT for Dallas. He graded as a top-5 RT in the NFL and is under contract for a very affordable rate.
