Dallas Cowboys Dak, CeeDee, Diggs, Gregory pacing record seasons

Dallas Cowboys
CeeDee Lamb
Key stat: On pace for a 1,408 yard season
This is the kind of sophomore season Dallas Cowboys fans were fully expecting when they selected CeeDee Lamb in 2020. Viewed by many as the top receiver in his loaded WR class, Lamb slipped to Dallas all the way to pick 17. Despite no glaring need at the position, Dallas went full-on BPA with an eye to the future.
Welp, the future is now.
CeeDee Lamb is already starting to pay off big. The numbers he’s posting are impressive but it’s the way he’s posting them is what makes him such a standout. Lamb is making plays with a high degree of difficulty that often require an elite skill set. He’s already a true WR1 in this league and has the potential to be a top-5 player at his position in no time at all.
CeeDee Lamb has been playing outside most of the season and has no problem making the transition. Perhaps that will change when Dallas’ other top WR, Michael Gallup, returns. It’s possible Gallup bites into Lambs numbers, but not very much. Dallas has been running a ton of 12 personnel with Gallup out, and will switch back to a heavy 11 grouping upon his return. That means most of Gallup’s targets will be at the expense of the TE group.
CeeDee is here to stay and he’s on pace for over 1400 yards, 93 receptions and 11 TDs
