Several years ago I did a Christmas poem for the Dallas Cowboys. I updated it three years ago, and now I update it for Cowboys Nation here in 2021.

This was always a fan favorite when the Dallas Cowboys were enjoying successful seasons and destined for the playoffs. It started when Romo was the quarterback, it was updated three years ago, and now again, the Cowboys make the playoffs. Please enjoy a little Dallas Cowboys Christmas cheer.

The Dallas Cowboys Twas the Night version for the 2021 team as they march toward the playoffs, enjoy and Happy Holidays!

Twas the weeks before playoffs throughout the NFC East

Every Cowboys fan was smiling eating their Christmas feast.

The Giants were out, and the Redskins were too

But the sweetest thing ever is the Eagles fans’ boo-hoos.

When out on the field there arose such a clatter

I ran to my TV to see what was the matter.

It was Parsons and Lawrence rattling an enemy head

Ezekiel Elliott making the motion on getting fed

Cooper and Lamb running wide open for the win

Diggs, Hooker, and Kearse putting a smile on Quinn

This looks like a run for another Super Bowl ring

Sorry NFC East fans your teams can’t do a thing.

So enjoy your Christmas, Cowboys fans big and small

Who saw this coming at the beginning of fall?

So dash away Martin, Dak, Randy, and Bones

Go bring a sixth Lombardi to its rightful home.

Another title would be every fan’s dream

Show the world why you are America’s Team.

light. Must Read. We need to admit the Cowboys are good

With the Dallas Cowboys securely in place for the NFC and one of the top four seeds, the Cowboys have work to do on offense, but are quietly winning games and slowly getting better. The defense is playing better than anyone predicted at the start of the season, the offense has to get back on track quickly.

There is still some time and a possible bye week if the Cowboys secure the number one seed at season’s end will help.

Happy Holidays to all of you!
