Dallas Cowboys 7-round mock draft (first mock of the offseason)
After a disappointing loss against the San Francisco 49ers, the Dallas Cowboys offseason has officially begun. Now begins the long journey to free agency and the draft. Without knowing what the Dallas Cowboys will do in free agency, and the upcoming Senior Bowls and combine, this first mock draft is more about position with some names to note. What we do know is the Dallas Cowboys have some holes they are going to have to fill at several positions either way.
This mock was run five times and the most chosen name at that spot is the name you see. Names will rise and fall throughout the draft process, as they do every year, but without that process we are assuming the player is falling within current projections. All this said, consider this a primer for the names and positions you will be reading about over the next several months.
Here is the first Dallas Cowboys mock draft of the offseason, after a disappointing end against the 49ers.
A small list of needs currently for the Cowboys is offensive line, linebacker, and safety. There are more and there are going to be different all depending again how they handle free agency. Tight end could be another position the Cowboys could look for with defensive tackle still a possibility. Cornerback will probably need a body and defensive end depth is always welcomed. So enjoy! With that let’s begin the draft…
