Dallas Cowboys Draft Option 2

Logan Hall, EDGE

Houston

Logan Hall is a name gaining steam early in the draft process. The EDGE player from Houston was projected by Kyle Crabbs to go to the Dallas Cowboys in his most recent draft and it’s easy to see why. Called “one of the more underrated prospects in this draft class” by Dane Brugler, Hall brings position versatility to whatever line he joins.

At 6-foot-6 275 lbs. Logan Hall can play both EDGE and IDL. Houston’s head coach said hall was one of the best defensive tackles he’s ever coached and DT may not even be his best position. Many view him as primary EDGE who reduced down in nickel situations.

Hall made it onto Bruce Feldman’s 2021 Freaks List because his athleticism, change of direction, and speed is extremely abnormal for a man his size. And his size doesn’t even appear to be maxed out yet. Hall is still advancing in both athleticism and size. He’s added size season over season and still has not maxed out his frame.

He’s an intriguing pick for the Dallas Cowboys because they notoriously love position flex. We also don’t know who will be running things defensively and whether it will be an odd or even man front. Hall has the ability to be a splash in either system playing a variety of spots.
