Dallas Cowboys at the Senior Bowl

I went over some of the offensive line names above, but that doesn’t mean that are the only offensive players the Dallas Cowboys need to be watching. With possible needs at tight end and wide receiver, the Cowboys could be watching for more firepower. This draft has some questions at wide receiver as the rounds tick by, but tight end looks to be solid for most of the draft.

If the Cowboys are looking at tight end in the draft, early names like Trey McBride and Jeremy Ruckert are both options for the Cowboys and they are in Mobile right now to observe. However, later-round guys like Cole Turner and Charlie Kolar can help their draft stock while in Alabama if they can show out.

While some other names are not there, a lot of teams like it when a player is familiar and that starts and the Senior Bowl.

For wide receiver, Jahan Dotson is an early name, but guys are looking to get themselves to move up a round or two and if a guy like Romeo Doubs or Alec Pierce can put on a show, they can easily position themselves as a player to watch. The Dallas Cowboys will likely be looking for some speed on the outside so there will be some options, but without a clear-cut favorite, the Senior Bowl can help develop the picture better if they decide to not pull that trigger in round one.

While the bowl is for seniors, and there are names like Tyler Linderbaum who isn’t attending due to not being a senior, this is just the first step in the process and in no way should be used to final grades.

On defense, there are some really solid players that the Cowboys could focus on. Let’s head to that side of the ball…
