With the 126th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft Dan Qui…I mean the Dallas Cowboys Select:

. CB. Dallas Cowboys. Zyon McCollum. 126. player. 123

The Dallas Cowboys trust in Dan Quinn and they trusted him right from the moment he was hired. We know this because the Cowboys selected CB Nashon Wright in the top 100 last season. After seeing what Zyon McCollum is capable of, Quinn is ready to pound the table.

McCollum has a wealth of experience, playing 56 games in his college career that included winning at National Championship at Sam Houston State at the FBS level. During that time he picked off 13 passes including two for touchdowns and showed the ability to line up outside or or in the slot.

McCollum may not possess freakish length Dan Quinn loves, but rather more similar to Anthony Brown or Jourdan Lewis. Which would be the plan for him.

McCollum tested extremely well at the combine. His feet on film match the testing numbers. Factor in the experience playing in the slot and the Cowboys have a core of four corners (Diggs, Joseph, Wright, McCollum) for the foreseeable future.
