With the 193rd pick in the 2022 NFL Draft the Dallas Cowboys select:

123. . Tackle. Dallas Cowboys. Myron Cunningham. 193. player

The Dallas Cowboys saw La’el Collins leave this off season and many are curious what they’ll do about the depth on the Offensive Line. Shouldn’t this be addressed sooner? Can Arkansas Tackle Myron Cunningham, a 6th round pick, be the teams swing tackle?

No, is the answer. Many may either not like it or perhaps even forget, but this team likes Josh Ball the football player. A fourth round pick last season out of Marshall who has a rather disturbing background. But he’s on the team and it must be factored.

Cunningham’s role is to develop. At this point in the draft teams will draft off traits. Cunningham was a team captain, has NFL size, length and large hands.

He’s got feet that try. They’re moving. That doesn’t make them good movements always. Pad level is an issue that can be coached through. Can play with an awkward base that gives up too much of his strength.

The idea of this pick is to see if Cunningham can make the practice squad and eventually find his way as a backup.

AND THERE YOU HAVE IT!

The 2022 NFL Draft class. Dallas Cowboy fans will have plenty of reason to talk up the big time players they landed even if they come with some risks. A starting guard and tight end found in the middle rounds to go along with depth and special teams help.
