Dallas Cowboys draft analysis

The Dallas Cowboys have quite a few holes to fill in this draft, but there is talk of them moving up for some players. While there is certainly a possibility for certain players, putting themselves in a position to need players is not the best way to approach the draft. I don’t think they will be able to fill all the needs and will address some positions after the draft. The front office also seems to like players more than some fans.

Offensive tackle and center are two positions on the offensive line that could use more, but with Josh Ball and their belief in Tyler Biadasz, I am not sure they address either position early, although could touch them later in the draft. The Cowboys will have opportunities after the draft to fill depth, however, they will still need to use some free agents at some point too.

This draft seems to fall differently and more chaotically than in some past years on the simulations, but there is depth at positions the Cowboys have needs, which helps. We are only a few days away and some surprises could happen. Until then, we take our best guess and see how it all plays out.
