Dallas Cowboys Undrafted Free Agency 2022: Who are these guys?

Amon Simon, OL, Texas A&M Commerce

Needing depth at offensive tackle the Dallas Cowboys grab Simon as a future depth piece. Simon may play guard at the next level, but development will quickly decide which role he fills. There are traits that could have him be a future swing tackle.

Simon is violent and always looking to take his man to the ground. He explodes with his first step looking to make contact with someone, anyone. In the run game, he gets to the second level looking to take out linebackers. He has the size and frame to impose himself on pass rushers.

Simon is going to need work adding some mass to his lower body. As violent as he is with his punches, will reach too often and take himself out of the play or end up on the ground. Doesn’t really lock up edges which allows them to recover on him and continue.
