Jaquarii Roberson, WR, Wake Forest

The Dallas Cowboys continue to add to their receiving depth and Roberson offers some size to the slot position with development. If the Cowboys are looking for bigger slot receivers, Roberson offers a lot to like and that should be his role. If he can play special teams he could find a home while he develops.

Roberson has really nice hands most of the time and plucks balls out of the air regularly. While he doesn’t always look overly fast, he almost never gets caught from behind. Goes over the middle and runs seams with urgency. If he gets a free release he can get into his route well. Goes up and makes a lot of acrobatic catches but can also sit in a zone.

Roberson isn’t going to break a ton of tackles and can get muscled at the line. If he is off his route he will take a second to recover and is behind in his route. Limited route tree and will sometimes sell his route with unnecessary movements. Will sometimes allow a ball into his chest on deep passes.
