Dallas Cowboys Undrafted Free Agency 2022: Who are these guys?

The Dallas Cowboys really like players with range and Hansford has that in spades. For a team looking for answers at linebacker Hansford offers physical tools for the position. He will need some development time early, so the practice squad might be his best starting spot.

Hansford has range on almost every snap you watch of his. He gets into his zone quickly which helped him take a leap in coverage last season. He has a good burst hitting the hole and is willing to take on blockers or the ball carrier. He does well coming down the line with his long strides.

Hansford will misdiagnose plays a little too often still and relies on his physical tools to compensate. While he can get physical he doesn’t possess a ton of power which shows up when taking on blocks. He has an injury history but was healthy last season.
