Dallas Cowboys Cinco de macho list (2 & 3)

Sam Williams, DE

In round two the Dallas Cowboys continued their tough guy theme and added Sam (Dee) Williams to their defensive line. The Dan Quinn pet cat plays an ultra-physical style of play that blends speed with power.

Dee Williams lacks many pass-rush moves and is limited in his ability to bend the corner, but he makes up for it in hustle and tenacity – macho traits that set him apart from others and likely pushed him to the top of Dan Quinn’s wish list.

Matt Walezko, OT

Going back to the offensive line the Dallas Cowboys drafted Matt Walezko from UND. Walezko is a physical freak who brings a truckload of tangibles to go with his tough-guy intangibles. While one would expect an NFL-caliber player to dominate the competition like Walezko did in the Missouri Valley Football Conference, you don’t expect him to be as mean as he was.

Walezko abused players every chance he had. He pancaked without remorse and showed the killer instinct that’s been lacking on the Cowboys O-line for quite some time. If he can make the giant leap to the pros (he’s still very sloppy), he could help Tyler Smith remake the image of the Dallas line.
