Dallas Cowboys 53-man roster

Dallas Cowboys  Defensive line (10): DeMarcus Lawrence, Osa Odighizuwa, Neville Gallimore, John Ridgeway, Dorance Armstrong, Sam Williams, Chauncey Golston, Carlos Watkins, Quinton Bohanna, Trysten Hill

We’re going long here because the Dallas Cowboys seem to be littered with high-potential options on their D-line. Tank is obvious as is the recently signed Armstrong who is a 25-year-old ascending player. Osa and Neville are on the rise with sky-high potential and the rookie Sam Williams is all potential so he’s clearly making the cut.

Carlos Watkins beats out Tarell Basham by a nose. Neither have very high ceilings and both has position flex but Watkins has a little something extra in both size and quickness. Golston flashed good things last year and at age 24, has just scratched the surface.

Speaking of which, Trysten Hill is just 24 and has an amazing blend of size, speed, and athletic ability. He’s only flashed it on film but the skillset is there nonetheless. Bohanna and Ridgeway are the run-stoppers who have yet to reach their physical potential.

Linebackers (5): Micah Parsons, Leighton Vander Esch, Jabril Cox, Devin Harper, Luke Gifford

Cox has as good of a ceiling as anyone and the rookie Harper has loads of untapped potential that put him above his competition. LVE is safe who can play at a high level and as we discussed here, we thing he’s in store for an excellent 2022 campaign.

Damone Clark starts on the PUP but he makes the team eventually and could be the best pure off-ball LB not named Micah, when all is said and done. Gifford has some elite tangibles that could make him more than just a special teams ace. The sixth spot is reserved for a SAF/LB hybrid that we’ll discuss next…
