Round Two – Andrei Iosivas – Wide Receiver – Princeton

One name that many have not heard about and I do believe will vault himself into the second round is Andrei Iosivas. The Dallas Cowboys have a severe need for speed and Iosivas has more than enough. While I think the Cowboys may not go wide receiver this early, his skillset fits this team in a big way. Standing at 6’4″, weighing in at 200 pounds, and what could be a sub 4.3 40 time (he runs a 6.71 60m), Iosivas would give the Cowboys a big, deep threat, who can rack up yards after the catch.

Iosivas has the speed and size the Cowboys want and it would allow them to move CeeDee Lamb around a little more to utilize his ability in mismatches. Watching the little I have to this point, he doesn’t seem to lose much if any, speed in and out of cuts. He has strong hands and smooth footwork that makes him a nightmare to break one off at any moment and outrun everyone. Iosavis goes from 0 to top speed as fast as anyone in the league now.

The knock on Iosavis right off the bat will be the lack of competition he faced in college. Adding that to what looks like a slightly limited route tree (how much is Princeton’s offense?), teams may view him as a bit of a project and more of just a deep threat only. With his size, you would hope he could block better outside, but he has the athleticism to learn it.
