Dallas Cowboys Defense must be built around Micah Parsons

I cannot take credit for this idea because it was brought up by fellow Dfw sportswriter, John Herdon. Since Dallas’ defense is its strongest unit at the moment, it should build the remaining pieces around Micah Parsons and continue to dominate with its powerful pass rushers and forcing turnovers.

Dallas’ defense has play makers at each level with promising players waiting in the wings to contribute, like linebackers Damone Clark, Jabril Cox, and Devin Harper, and safety Markquese Bell. Adding a massive nose tackle to the mix, will only benefit Leighton Vander Esch, who tallied 11 combined tackles against the 49ers and kept Christian McCaffrey in check.

Solidifying the secondary with another CB2 along with a nose tackle and this defense will sit atop of the food chain once again with a dominant pass rush and the ability to lead the league again in forcing turnovers. The defense held the 49ers offense to 311 total yards (113 rush yards on 32 carries) and Brock Purdy only passed for 214 yards on 19 completions.

Let the defense lead the way for a championship.
