246. player. Pick Analysis. TACKLE. Arkansas. Dalton Wagner. 123. Scouting Report

The Dallas Cowboys need to add depth to the offensive line. Drafting their Left Guard of the future on day 2 was massive, but the team will still be without Terence Steele to begin the 2023 season and Tyron Smith’s future is reasonably in doubt.

The Dallas Cowboys don’t trust Josh Ball and 2022 draft pick Matt Waletzko spent the season hurt. So the Cowboys use their final pick to add another large body in Dalton Wagner from Arkansas.

Dalton Wagner is 6’9″ 316lbs and a solid athlete. He has good quickness for a man his size and his hand placement lands where it needs to. He has elite length that he uses well in the run game. However, he’s questionable as a pass protector. While he is an agile player, his feet don’t always do what he needs them to.
