Siaki Ika is load molded from the same clay as former Bulldog Jordan Davis. He is a prototypical nose tackle who commands double-teams because of the fear of his ability to break things.
His presence would change the entire defense. The Dallas Cowboys linebackers can flow to make plays. Osawaru Odighizuwa would no longer have to deal with double-teams.
The run defense would benefit from deploying a young massive man-mountain in the defense’s interior.
Mike McCarthy values big interior bullies. He had the likes of Cullen Jenkins and B. J. Raji manning the middle for his 2011 Super Bowl championship team.
At the time of this writing. Johnathan Hankins has not been resigned. Even if he is brought back. I would still invest in another NT. Neville Gallimore and Quinton Bohanna have been underwhelming. It is time for a serious upgrade.
