Dallas Cowboys Round 5, Pick 176 – Moro Ojomo – DT Texas

Height: 6-3 | Weight: 292

Ojomo, a fifth-year senior defensive lineman, has played in 50 games and made 30 starts. During the 2022 season, Ojomo had one of his best years, tallying 33 tackles and three sacks, and was honored as a Second-Team All-Big-12 Team member.

Ojomo’s physical abilities make him fit between the 3-4 and 4-3 positions, and this contributes to his overall effectiveness.

Dallas Cowboys Round 6, Pick 212 – Keondre Coburn – NT  Texas

Height: 6-2 | Weight: 332

Keondre Coburn showcases NT size and skill set with strengths in strength, violence and gripping hands – pocket destroyer, good burst off the ball for a man his size.

Dallas Cowboys Round 7, Pick 244 – Malik Cunningham – QB Louisville

Height: 6-1 | Weight: 190

Despite dealing with many injuries during the 2022 season, Cunningham managed to compete in 10 games and accumulate 2,133 total yards and was responsible for 20 scores.

Cunningham is an impressive athlete at the quarterback position, but he needs to work on his passing game to become a truly complete quarterback prospect.

At this stage he is a better athlete than quarterback but he has a lot of talent, high character, and he has shown he make a NFL throw.

I would love to see what Mike McCarthy can do with him.

Reading Recommendation

I can’t recommend Jimmy Johnson’s book, “Swagger” enough. All Dallas Cowboy fans should purchase this. It is a great read. Tip of the hat to Dave Hyde for the great job of constructing the narrative.
