Dallas Cowboys Round 3, Pick 70 -Tyrique Stevenson – CB Miami (FL)

Height: 6 – 0 | Weight: 198 |

Tyrique Stevenson brings to the table a combination of size and speed, physical toughness, and a swagger that many coaches desire in man-cover defenders.

Big physical cornerback prospect with impressive athletic traits and height-weight-speed attributes. He has the makings of a bully corner at the next level.

Stevenson has the elite size and play strength to help match up with bigger wide receivers in the league in press coverage. He doesn’t mind pushing and riding the hip pocket of receivers. Not grabby in man coverage.

He wants to dog you and let you know about it.

He is highly confident in his abilities and will continuously challenge receivers throughout the entire game. He has outstanding ball skills to attack the catch point and make plays on throws that are up for grabs.

Stevenson hasn’t received the recognition he deserves from this year’s cornerback draft class. Plays with a chip on his shoulder.

Dallas Cowboys Round 4, Pick 90 – Kendre Miller – RB TCU

Height: 5 – 11 | Weight: 215 |

Kendre Miller is a patient but physically imposing running back who never loses speed on contact and usually gains more yards because of his powerful leg drive.

He keeps his balance while running to stay upright through light contact. He will lower his shoulder and force his way through the cracks at the goal line.

He was the lead running back for TCU for one year, and he had very little wear and tear. Miller was one of only nine FBS players in the year 2022 who had scored 17 or more rushing touchdowns.

During his college career, he averaged an impressive 6.7 yards per carry and registered at least one explosive play (20-plus yards) in 12 out of 14 games last year.

Miller is still a work in progress but with his NFL starter potential, he could be a great addition to the Dallas Cowboys backfield.

During the College Football Playoff semifinals in December 2022, his right knee MCL was hurt, leading to the need for surgery in January 2023, and thus he was not able to participate in any pre-draft workouts.

This may have a negative effect on his draft status, causing him to drop.
