Dallas Cowboys Tackles (4)

Tyler Smith, Terence Steele, Matt Waletzko, Tyron Smith.

Terence Steele will be starting on the right side while Tyler Smith takes the position of starting left tackle. Tyler Smith can flex to left guard if no one is found to man the position.

My confidence in Tyron Smith playing a full season is low. Tyler Smith and Terrence Steele should be the Cowboys’ starting tackles going forward. The two of them have demonstrated that they are the superior choices for the tackle position.

According to Mike McCarthy, Waletzko is excelling in rehab since his shoulder surgery. He was sidelined for the remainder of the season after an injury in October.

Dallas Cowboys Guards (4)

Zack Martin, Chuma Edoga, Asim Richards (R), T.J Bass (UDFA)

The role of starting right guard is fulfilled by Zack Martin. With his ability to play both G and OT, Chuma Edoga is a versatile player who can provide depth at either position. Asim Richards has the potential to start in the future.

T.J Bass is a sleeper. Bass is a versatile offensive lineman who has played various positions for the Ducks. As a three-year starter, he spent most of his career at left tackle but also played left guard.

Dallas Cowboys Centers (2)

Tyler Biadasz, Matt Farniok

Tyler Biadasz is the clear-cut starting center, and Matt Farniok’s ability to play guard or center makes him the ideal backup option.

Center position has a sleeper in Alec Lindstrom. He was signed to a reserve/futures contract by the Cowboys in January. The former Boston College standout performed well in a competitive group of rookie interior linemen. After one year, we’ll find out if he’s improved from year 1 to year 2.
