2. Quinn Ewers, Texas

Quinn Ewers embodies the essence of a Dallas quarterback, being born and raised in Texas, playing for the Longhorns, and rocking a cowboy hat off-field. While vibes are not the best indicator of future success (but it's got to count for something, right?) Ewers also possesses everything you can want in a passer.

As a raw prospect, Ewers has some of the best passing numbers in the class and elite accuracy, which can translate well to the NFL level. At the University of Texas, Ewers showcased his ball skills with an impressive 9,128 career passing yards at a 64.9% completion rate. He also had 68 touchdowns through the air, increasing his numbers year over year as the starter.

When it comes to Ewers, there have been many mixed feelings expressed from the public, but I do believe he has the skill set to overcome adversity in the right situation. On the other hand, there is obviously a reason Ewers is perceived as a third-round talent, and that would be mostly due to his inability to avoid pressure in the pocket, and his lack of creativity when the play breaks down. In the 2024 season, the Texas Longhorns had a top-5 offensive line and receiving core, which would be essential for Ewers at the next level to have any early success.

Fortunately, Ewers' biggest flaws are ones that can be developed in a young quarterback (especially considering he's still only 21), and with the right supporting cast, he could be the future face of the franchise for our beloved Dallas Cowboys.
