2. Kliff Kingsbury, Washington Commanders Offensive Coordinator

After it was announced that McCarthy would not be returning next season, rumors quickly started circulating that Kliff Kingsbury could become the next head coach of the Dallas Cowboys.

Kingsbury is currently the offensive coordinator of the Washington Commanders and is partially responsible for one of the most impressive turnarounds we have seen from an NFL team in recent memory.

Before coming to Washington, Kingsbury had built a reputation for being an offensive genius. He has developed some of the most talented quarterbacks in the game, including Patrick Mahomes, whom Kingsbury worked closely with while Mahomes played for him at Texas Tech.

While Kingsbury's success as an offensive coordinator is undisputed, he has yet to prove himself as a head coach. In his past head coaching stint with the Arizona Cardinals, he left fans disappointed, finishing his tenure with a 28-37 record and only one playoff appearance in four seasons.

While Kingsbury’s previous head coaching role does raise red flags, fans are forced to wonder what Kingsbury could do with a quarterback like Dak Prescott under center. It is intriguing to think about how electrifying the Cowboys' offense could potentially be with Kingsbury calling the plays.

Overall, it would be a massive culture shift to go from McCarthy to Kingsbury, but it could potentially be what the team needs for them to be competitive once again,
