3. Tyler Lockett, WR

Receiver Tyler Lockett has been in the NFL since 2015. Lockett was a third-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft and has been a reliable playmaker throughout his time with Seattle.

In 161 career games, Lockett notched 661 receptions for 8,594 yards, and 61 touchdowns. The Kansas State product is known for secure hands and smooth route runner. He is under contract for the Seahawks but is widely expected to be released.

He is set to have a $30 million cap hit in 2025 but the Seahawks would create $17 million in salary cap space if they released him. Lockett has fallen behind D.K. Metcalf and Jaxon Smith-Njigba and will likely be finding a new home in 2024.

Dallas could be a suitor for him. Lockett and Schottenheimer were together in Seattle from 2018-2020. During those seasons, he had 239 catches for 3,076 receiving yards and 28 touchdowns. He had two campaigns with 1,000-plus yards and double-digit scores.

Although those dominant days are behind him, Lockett could be a veteran option that Schottenheimer looks to bring in.
