The Dallas Cowboys have had a disappointing campaign for all the expectations they had entering the season.

They sit with a 5-7 record as the NFL in playing in Week 14 of the schedule. They lost quarterback Dak Prescott for the rest of the year with a hamstring injury and are hoping for Cooper Rush to pull a rabbit out of his hat and lead them to an improbable playoff run.

While the odds of that happening aren't likely, the outlook for 2025 and beyond has begun around the league. Most of the focus is on the 2025 offseason but some thoughts have gone even further down the line.

This past weekend, Archie Manning was approached by a TikTok user who asked him where he wants his grandson, Arch Manning to play for in the NFL. And the 75-year-old expressed the Cowboys as his No. 1 choice.

Cowboys Rumors: Archie Manning Wants Arch To Land With in Dallas

A fan came up to Archie at a bar and caught the legend off guard but he still gave an answer.

He responded, "It’s funny, nobody’s ever asked me that. Right off the bat, if somebody asked me, I’d say Cowboys."

Arch is a redshirt sophomore at the University of Texas and is the backup quarterback behind Quinn Ewers. Manning started two games this season when Ewers went down with an injury. This year, he is 61-of-90 (67.8%) for 939 passing yards and nine passing touchdowns. He also added 100 rushing yards and four touchdowns.

Manning will likely take over as the starting quarterback for the Longhorns in 2025 and potentially in 2026 if he decides to stay in college.

He has a couple of years before he even enters the NFL Draft but his grandfather already has a team on his mind. Arch is the son of Cooper Manning and nephew of Peyton and Eli.

Football runs in his family and America's Team may be looking for a new quarterback by the time he comes into the NFL.

No one knows how that process will go, but the speculation is already starting.
