The Dallas Cowboys shocked the NFL world on Wednesday when they decided to trade for George Pickens. The Cowboys gave up a 2026 third-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round pick in exchange for Pickens and a 2027 seventh-round pick.
They added much-needed juice to the WR room, and before the trade was officially announced, CeeDee Lamb posted a gif of Ralph Wiggum from "The Simpsons" waving on Tuesday night, indicating he knew the deal was coming.

CeeDee Lamb Knew the Cowboys Were Trading for George Pickens
There were rumors the Cowboys were very interested in Tetairoa McMillan, but didn't get the chance to select him since the Carolina Panthers took him with the 8th overall pick.
The void across from Lamb was clear as day, and the team made sure to improve in that area. Pickens spent the past three seasons in Pittsburgh and gave this team a contested catch threat who can create chunk plays downfield. In 48 career games, Pickens has reeled in 174 receptions for 2,841 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns.
Since Amari Cooper left town, the Cowboys have been searching for Lamb's running mate, but weren't able to secure that.
Lamb has gone over 1,100 receiving yards in four straight seasons. He's shown the ability to be the No. 1 WR yet adding Pickens will only open things up more for him. Defenses can't hone in on Lamb only, as that will create favorable matchups for Pickens.
This is the kind of addition the Cowboys needed to make to bolster the offense. It's also surprising, considering Jerry Jones speaks a big game but has a history of not cashing in on them. Regardless of what anyone has to say, this is a great move for 2025, and Lamb is certainly a fan of the move.
