The performance of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott over recent years has been a significant topic of debate as OTAs are well underway. He was recently a runner-up finisher in the MVP race, though injuries and general ineffectiveness have plagued his career when considering the upper-echelon players in the league.

Prescott is a great quarterback and among the best in franchise history, though he's faltered in the biggest of moments, largely due to terrible coaching brought on by even worse decisions from Jerry Jones.

Despite the struggles, Prescott has persevered. Now, he made a tremendous, exciting announcement regarding his family prior to a major season for his legacy.

As announced by the official X account from the Cowboys' social media team, Prescott is now a father of a beautiful new member to his family.

This is a fantastic time for the 31-year-old quarterback and all fans should rejoice in congratulating someone who has meant so much to the organization. Welcoming a new child into the world is a thrilling, scary time, yet Prescott seems to be approaching the moment with the maturity that Cowboys fans have grown to know him for.

Turning focus back to the field, Prescott faces a unique challenge in ushering Dallas back to the postseason. CeeDee Lamb and newly-acquired George Pickens give him great options, though he has something more to play for now. After a year overcome with injury, Prescott will be more than motivated to flip the script and show Cowboys faithful what he's all about.

In 2022, Prescott led the league in completions (410) and TD passes (36). At his best, he's one of the NFL's premier players, though now it's on him to show that 2022 wasn't a fluke. Dallas fans know it wasn't, and now he has some extra motivation.

Congratulations to Prescott, and Cowboys faithful is rooting for the best for him moving forward.
