Even in the summer, it didn't stop Dallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarvion Overshown from throwing some shade at the bad guys in green.
The news of the week in sports was LeBron James finally deciding his fate in his soon-to-be 24th NBA season. He has decided to go to the Philadelphia 76ers. Now, in the world of basketball, some Cowboys fans could care less, but if they do decide to care, they should remember that most Eagles fans are 76ers fans.
Do we really feel satisfied with letting their fans have the dream of a lifetime? Overshown doesn't think so, and he made sure to send a message to Philly while still praising the 76ers at the same time. (h/t Brandon Loree)

This was one of the surprises of the week, as James was expected to go to Miami, Cleveland or Golden State. Philadelphia became a late team in the running after everything was set and done.
Even though he's cheering on the 76ers basketball team, Overshown is not letting up on how he feels toward the city of Philadelphia and its fanbase. They can be one of the most enthusiastic, but also one of the more hostile. Cowboys fans know that from the Bounty Bowl days of 1989 when they went up against Buddy Ryan.
Again, some Cowboys fans may not care about LeBron or basketball in general, but remember who the Philly fans are, people! They're the ones getting the NBA's All-Time leading scorer, and Overshown made sure to bring awareness that these are still the same fans who like throwing snowballs or booing Santa Claus.
The pot is extra spicy after last season's Week 1 game and the Cowboys' furious rally against the Eagles last November.
On opening kickoff weekend, fans at all sports bars "ooh'ed" and "ahh'ed" when Eagles defensive lineman Jalen Carter spit on Dak Prescott before the first play of the season. Things escalated after a kickoff when Marist Liufau got into it with Cooper DeJean.
There have been scrapes, helmet grabs and ejections. As Mike Tirico once put it during a scuffle between Jason Kelce and Osa Odighizuwa, "A Cowboy-Eagle game has broken out."
Overshown is one of the players who's looking to prove himself this year after injuries have haunted his early career. This is a fun way to get the rivalry started up, and it's ultra hilarious in the manner he did it.
