The Dallas Cowboys were crushed by the injury bug over the last few weeks and things got worse in Week 9 as they saw starting quarterback Dak Prescott suffer a hamstring injury.

Prescott exited late in the second half of last week’s game against the Atlanta Falcons. Along with Prescott, the Cowboys saw star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb get banged up after falling on his shoulder.

Earlier this week, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the star wide receiver has a sprained AC joint, but the injury is not considered serious. Schefter adds Lamb is expected to have a chance to play against the Eagles.

The star pass catcher was a limited participant at Wednesday’s practice. On Thursday, Dallas head coach Mike McCarthy gave a positive update on the veteran wideout.

According to Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News, McCarthy said Lamb did more than they expected yesterday.

With the Cowboys already down Prescott, they will need the superstar wide receiver on the field against a surging Eagles defense. Lamb has 53 receptions (84 targets) for 660 yards and four touchdowns this season.

The 25-year-old has seen an increase in targets over the last three games, averaging 14.3 per game. Despite his injury, it wouldn’t be shocking to see Lamb get double-digit targets against the Eagles.

But if Lamb has a setback before Sunday's game, the Cowboys will have to lean on tight end Jake Ferguson and third-year wide receiver Jalen Tolbert in the passing game.
