Cowboys’ Stadium Disaster Takes Wild Turn in Shocking MNF Mishap
The Dallas Cowboys have a contest against the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football to close out Week 11.
The Cowboys wanted to open the roof of the stadium but that didn't last long. While players trickled into the stadium and members of the media took the field to start coverage for the matchup, a large piece of metal fell onto the field.
Cowboys News: Large Piece of Metal Falls Onto the Field at AT&T Stadium
While the roof of the stadium was opening up, large chunks of plastic, paper, and debris were falling from the sky. Not long after, the piece of metal dropped.
The team eventually closed the roof for this matchup, but this was an unexpected storyline before the game even kicked off. Just last week against the Philadelphia Eagles, the stadium was once again a talking point. CeeDee Lamb failed to reel in a touchdown grab due to the sun beaming down from the top of the stadium.
To make matters worse, Jerry Jones decided to put up curtains to block the light as they hosted the Mike Tyson-Jake Paul fight at AT&T Stadium on Nov. 16.
Fans are wondering why Jones can put up curtains for an event hosted at the stadium but can't do the same for the Cowboys on gameday.
Now once again the stadium is being talked about.
This season has been a disaster for the Cowboys, but the news doesn't stop coming out of Dallas. That's what Jones loves. Getting Dallas' name discussed, and it doesn't seem to matter why.
