Even Micah Parsons Can't Believe Ex-Cowboy's Pro Bowl Snub

Micah Parsons is no longer a member of the Dallas Cowboys, but he clearly still has a lasting bond with the players he shared the field with during his tenure in the Lone Star State. That was just reiterated in his response to one of his former runningmates being snubbed from this year's Pro Bowl roster.

With the final voting results released earlier in the week, a player who Dallas almost certainly wishes was still part of its secondary was, surprisingly, left off the team despite putting together a career-best showing as a member of the Chicago Bears under former Cowboys assistant Al Harris.

Nahson Wright's Pro Bowl Snub Clearly Disturbed Micah Parsons

Nahson Wright was thrust into a position where he was depended upon throughout the 2025 campaign for the NFC North leading Bears, and he responded to the call as well as he possibly could have by leading the league with eight takeaways, five interceptions, and three fumble recoveries. One of those interceptions was returned by Wright for a touchdown, adding to his impressive resume.

Despite that being the case, he did not manage to make the cut in the NFC. Instead, the ex-Cowboys defender was left on the sidelines with the Philadelphia Eagles' Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean, Seattle Seahawks' Devon Witherspoon, and Carolina Panthers' Jaycee Horn earning the honor, instead.

While this type of backing likely won't be celebrated by Green Bay Packers fans, given their longstanding rivalry with Chicago, publicly backing his former teammate after missing out on a well-deserved honor is the right thing for Parsons to do. All of the players who earned the honor over Wright are quality defenders, but the former Cowboy put up numbers this season that deserve recognition.

Wright signed a one-year, $1.1 million contract with the Bears before the 2025 campaign, and he will undoubtedly be in line for a pay raise this offseason after the performance he has put on for one of the NFC's top contenders. The Cowboys will have plenty of decisions to make regarding how they spend their money this offseason, but Wright could be someone who winds up on the radar of the front office after being a draft pick of the franchise in 2021.

Those conversations will come at a later date, but what we can say for certain on Christmas Day is that Wright's Pro Bowl snub was enough to make Parsons show some love to another former Cowboys defender.
