The Seattle Seahawks are making moves this offseason, and they made another one that Dallas Cowboys fans will somewhat notice, but not show too much emotion at all. Trevon Diggs has signed with the Seahawks on a one-year deal.

Diggs ended a frustrating last season with the Cowboys, and his 2021 All-Pro season feels like an eternity at this point. He did suffer a weird at-home injury, but when he came back, he never had the same spark that fans wanted to see in him. He earned a 59.8 overall grade with Pro Football Focus, and even though he played a short season, he didn't look good in pass coverage.

Diggs has a chance to revamp his career, but the signing didn't really draw much reaction. He's already down on the depth chart, and the Seahawks have issues of their own to solve.

Trevon Diggs to the Seahawks isn't much of a threat

First off, the Seahawks just signed Devon Witherspoon to a four-year, $132 million contract extension. Witherspoon has become one of the best in the league at his position, alongside Josh Jobe and Nick Emmanwori.

On the depth chart, there's also Julian Neal, their third-round pick that the Seahawks will definitely experiment with, but where's Diggs going to be?

He had a brief stint with the Packers right after being released by Dallas and didn't do much. He was eventually released by the Packers and has been a free agent for several months until now.

There's also Terrion Arnold, as he's going through some legal issues now, but the Seahawks still signed him anyway. He faces eight felony counts, but he's expected to play in the NFL again. They have a PR situation to think about, so that's even more reason why Diggs isn't the first thing on the Seahawks' mind right now.

With Dallas, they have a new generation of secondary players, except for DaRon Bland trying to return to another 2023 campaign. But if Shavon Revel continues to shine into the regular season, Diggs really won't be missed at all.

Revel looks like he's recovered from a torn ACL he suffered back in college, and the second-year man looks like he's coming for Bland's CB1 spot. It's still early, but there's a chance here.

Of course, there's also the rookie Caleb Downs, who has wowed everybody, including Christian Parker and Brian Schottenheimer. He may be a star one day, and the Giants will forever regret not picking him twice.

Congrats to Trevon, but Cowboys fans aren't blinking at all about this. He may get some playing time, but the Seahawks are already loaded with secondary talent.
