The old adage says that the rich always get richer, and the Dallas Cowboys are about to get wealthy. Their offense has been one of the most proficient in the entire league, and they might be even better in Week 7.

Despite not having OG Tyler Booker and WRs KaVontae Turpin and CeeDee Lamb on the field for weeks, Brian Schottenheimer's team has found ways to keep the chains in motion. Now, team owner/GM Jerry Jones just confirmed on 105.3 The Fan that they're inching closer to their return.

Jerry Jones is Optimistic About CeeDee Lamb's Return

"Without being doctor here and without the benefit of a week of practice, we are thumbs up on all. It’s looking good but that’s just it, you gotta have a week of practice,'" Jones said on his 105.3 The Fan appearance.

Turpin is a valuable third wide receiver behind Lamb and George Pickens, and his return should spell trouble for Ryan Flournoy, who has been a reliable pass-catcher for Dak Prescott in the past couple of weeks. Also, getting Booker back in the fold will certainly help Javonte Williams dominate even more after a strong start to the season.

Of course, Lamb's return is by far the most positive news. The Oklahoma product was on pace to post another All-Pro-caliber season before he hurt his ankle just a handful of plays into the loss to the Chicago Bears, and he'll give Prescott one of the most reliable pairs of hands in all of football.

Granted, the Cowboys' high-flying offense has looked even sharper without him, and the head coach will have an interesting challenge if he wants to keep spreading the wealth and get multiple players involved. Still, all teams need go-to guys when things get hard, and Lamb is one of the five best wide receivers in the game.

Prior to his injury, he had already hauled in 16 receptions on 24 targets for 222 receiving yards. Hopefully, the Cowboys may have learned their lesson and won't have him getting touches out of the backfield very often going forward, if at all.

Now that Pickens has developed strong chemistry with his new quarterback and Lamb is getting closer to full strength, this team could have one of the strongest one-two punches in all of football for the remainder of the season.
