The Dallas Cowboys made headlines for all the wrong reasons once again Thursday night. The initial picks of the first round put Dallas in a great spot at No. 12 to snag an offensive weapon that would give Dak Prescott some much-needed help.
However, Jerry Jones threw everyone a curveball once again. While he did address the offense, he spent this premium choice on Alabama guard Tyler Booker, much to criticism around the NFL and from the Cowboys' fan base.
Reactions to the Booker selection were strong, and Dallas star Micah Parsons's response certainly captures how those in Big D are feeling.

Parsons participated in a live draft show with Bleacher Report on Thursday to discuss all of the picks. When the Cowboys' choice was announced, the cameras were on the former Penn State standout, and he was left totally stunned. The outspoken game-wrecker had no words, and it seems like the Cowboys stud was severely puzzled by the choice in the moment.
Parsons then collected himself, realizing he was in front of a national audience, and quickly tried to give Booker a warm welcome. He broke his silence by saying "I am excited by the pick," and calls Booker a "beast," but he notes he actually wanted Dallas to draft someone on his side of the ball instead.
This very awkward, and very telling, moment has unsurprising gone viral. This is certainly a downside of Parsons being someone who enjoys having a platform off the field, as his penchant for talking can sometimes lead to trouble or cause friction with teammates.
It's not exactly a great look for one of the team's best players to admit they're a bit disappointed by a draft pick, let alone Dallas' supposed crown jewel of its class. However, the poor reviews and even Parsons' reaction may give Booker all the fuel he needs to prove he was worth the No. 12 selection.
