The Dallas Cowboys have a long list of areas they must improve on this offseason. The offensive line is one of the most pressing needs that needs to be addressed after the Cowboys ranked 23rd and 19th in terms of pass and run blocking last season, respectively, according to Pro Football Focus.

Fortunately, this year's free agent class features plenty off talented offensive linemen who can help the Cowboys. That includes Arizona Cardinals blocker Will Hernandez, who recently made it clear he's a big fan of one of Dallas' latest coaching hires.

Cowboys News: Cardinals OL Will Hernandez Supports Klayton Adams Hire

Hernandez told Cowboys reporter Joseph Hoyt that he's a big fan of Dallas' decision to hire Klayton Adams as Brian Schottenheimer's offensive coordinator. The 41-year-old OC spent the last two seasons coaching the Cardinals' offensive line.

"From a player's perspective, I'm telling you: you guys got the right guy," Hernandez said. "(The Cowboys) got a guy that cares and a guy that's going to fight with everything he has to get things done no matter what."

If anybody knows about the impact Adams can have on an O-line, it's Hernandez. The Cardinals had one of the best frontlines in 2024, finish the season with the fourth-best pass blocking grade and 14th-best run blocking mark on PFF.

Based on his praise, it wouldn't be shocking if Hernandez wanted to follow Adams to Dallas. Even though injuries limited the former 2018 second-rounder to five appearances last season, Hernandez was on pace to have his best campaign yet as he tallied a career-high 66.0 run blocking grade while earning a mark of 74.2 for pass protection.

Between his coming off a shortened season and his experience with Adams, Hernandez could be an affordable free agent target for the Cowboys. The fact that OLs Zack Martin and Chuma Edoga are set to hit the open market further highlights Dallas' need to add a veteran like the ex-UTEP blocker.

It won't be long before Cowboys fans learn whether or not Hernandez will follow Adams. The 2025 NFL free agency period officially begins on Wednesday, March 12.
