Stud: Josh Jung

The Rangers' entire offense was dud-worthy until Josh Jung decided to take matters into his own hands.

With his team in need of a spark, Jung stepped up to the plate in the bottom of the fifth and provided just that. His two-run homer with two outs gave Texas its first runs of the game, helping this club get back into the contest.

When Jung was up to bat next, though, the Rangers still hadn't been able to plate another man. So he decided to do it himself, sending a 429-foot blast to center that scored him and Brandon Lowe for the second time on the night.

It's great to see Jung's bat come alive after going 1-for-7 with a whopping five strikeouts over the first two games of the ALCS. The All-Star recorded more HRs (2) and RBI (4) on Wednesday than he previously had all postseason, so it'd be no surprise if this breakout leads to a strong performance in the second half of this series.
