Dud: Robbie Grossman

There weren't too many duds to choose from in this game as nearly everyone who played did something to help the team win. Except for Robbie Grossman.

When you're the designated hitter, you have one job and one job only, and that's to hit. Grossman didn't do that on Tuesday, going 0-for-4 with 2 strikeouts (although he did walk).

That's a tough look for the third hitter in the lineup, especially since Grossman left so many guys on base. He had several chances to break the game wide open, but ultimately wasn't able to deliver.

In his first at-bat, Grossman struck out swinging with Seager on first base. In his second at-bat, he grounded out with nobody on.

Grossman walked in his third at-bat, but that was the highlight of his day. With Seager on third and nobody out in the top of the sixth, Grossman had a golden opportunity to knock in a run. Instead, he flew out to left, stranding Seager again.

Grossman capped off his terrible day with a swinging strikeout in the top of the eighth, leaving runners at first and second. He stranded four runners in all, and if Texas had lost we'd definitely be pointing fingers at him. Thankfully, his unproductive at-bats didn't matter.
