3. Dallas Picks Off Justin Herbert

Chargers QB Justin Herbert has been one of the NFL's most accurate passers to begin the 2023 campaign. He went an astounding 90-of-121 (74.3%) over the first three games, racking up 939 yards, 6 touchdowns and zero interceptions as well.

However, Herbert took a big step back in Week 4. Facing a less-than-scary Chargers defense, the former No. 6 pick struggled mightily, completing just 13-of-24 passes (54.2%) for 167 yards and a TD. Even more notably, Herbert threw his first Interception of the year.

It wasn't just a bad pass, but the quarterback also fractured his non-throwing hand on the play. He admitted it had some impact on him during the game, which adds a variable that could affect his performance against Dallas.

With a wounded QB on the menu, the Cowboys' defense is in a great spot to record another INT in Week 6. This unit is tied for the second-most picks in the league at seven, all of which have been by members of this ballhawking secondary.

Six of these interceptions have been by non-Trevon Diggs players as well, with DaRon Bland (3 INTs) stepping up in a major way, while Jayron Kearse, Stephon Gilmore and Malik Hooker have hauled in one apiece.

As Austin Ekeler works his way back from injury, LA is sure to be pass-heavy again on Monday. With the potentially hampered Herbert throwing against this talented secondary, an interception is certainly possible.
