3 Bold Predictions for Cowboys vs. Giants Week 10 Game
3. Micah Parsons Sets a Season High in Sacks
Cowboys star Micah Parsons finds himself one of the leaders in the Defensive Player of the Year race halfway through the 2023 campaign. However, with Cleveland Browns stud Myles Garrett also performing at a high level on the league's top-ranked defense, this award is anything but decided yet.
Parsons can start to separate himself with a big game to begin the second half of the year, and the Giants present the perfect victim.
This lackluster O-line is coming off of a Week 9 matchup where they gave up a whopping 8.0 sacks to the Las Vegas Raiders. Both of their starting tackles are also dealing with injuries, as Evan Neal suffered a sprained ankle last Sunday and Andrew Thomas has played in just two contests this year.
Adding to the perfect recipe for a huge day for Parsons is the aforementioned Tommy DeVito starting for New York. The undrafted rookie is set to make his first-ever start in Week 10, giving Parsons and the entire Cowboys defense an incredibly inexperienced QB to wreak havoc against.
It'd be no surprise if DeVito struggles with his decision-making, just like all rookie signal-callers do, clearing the way for Parsons to have his best game of the season in terms of sacks and pad his DPOY case.
