With the Cowboys' training camp about to begin, the team still has several issues to deal with as this offseason has been nothing short of turbulent in Dellas.

Considering a multitude of contract disputes, as well as several different roster problems, the expectations for the Cowboys this season are significantly lower than they have been the past few seasons.

With training camp on the horizon, below we will discuss the three biggest concerns for the Cowboys going into camp and whether or not they will be able to resolve them by the time they return from California.

Can Mike McCarthy get the Cowboys over the hump?

At the conclusion of the 2019 season, Jerry Jones fired head coach Jason Garrett after several years of Garrett making it abundantly clear that he was not the man to get the Cowboys to the promised land.

A little over four years later, the Cowboys are dealing with an issue almost identical issue. Current head coach Mike McCarthy has failed to show that he can take the Cowboys any further than Garrett did.

Through four seasons in Dallas, McCarthy has only managed to get the Cowboys past the first round of the playoffs once in his tenure. While the team has been able to be one of the more dominant squads throughout the regular season, winning the division twice it is simply not enough for fans as their patience with McCarthy is beginning to thin.

McCarthy is in the final year of his contract with the Cowboys and Jones has made it clear that this will be a do-or-die year. While the concern as to whether or not McCarthy is the man to remain at the helm for the Cowboys will not be resolved during training camp, it will be interesting to see whether or not Mccarthy's approach for this season will be different compared to previous years due to the immense pressure he is under to succeed this year.
