1. Dak Prescott - QB

This may seem counterintuitive, given how well Prescott is playing. However, he'll be on thin ice until he beats a difficult opponent.

He came close to beating the Eagles earlier this month, finishing with 374 passing yards and three TDs, but his final pass to CeeDee Lamb didn't cross the goal line and the Cowboys fell short. That came just a few weeks after a rough performance against the 49ers, when Dak completed just 14 of 24 passes for 153 yards with three interceptions in an embarrassing loss.

Dak has been magnificent overall since the 49ers game, so he doesn't truly deserve to be on thin ice. Sometimes life isn't fair though, and he needs to beat quality teams to prove the Cowboys have a legitimate shot at a championship.

His recent efforts haven't gone unnoticed, as Prescott is now the consensus third-favorite to win NFL MVP. If he makes it through this upcoming gauntlet unscathed, the award might be his to lose. If he doesn't, Dallas may have some difficult questions to answer this offseason.
