The Dallas Cowboys just cleared one of their big hurdles to success this season: getting Zack Martin back on the field.

One of the greatest guards in NFL history, Martin held out and secured a nice pay-raise, joining Trevon Diggs as the latest Cowboys start to get a nice new deal.

This team doesn't have unlimited money to go around though, and spending an additional $8.5 million (fully guaranteed) over the next two seasons to give Martin his raise could lighten the pockets of a few other Cowboys who are looking to get paid over the next couple years.

3 Cowboys Hurt By Zack Martin Contract Extension

1. Tyler Biadasz

Another piece of the Cowboys' interior offensive line, center Tyler Biadasz is entering the final year of the rookie contract he signed as a fourth-round pick in 2020.

Playing under this deal and making a Pro Bowl has obviously left him heavily underpaid, and he's due for a big raise next season. But if he wants to stay in Dallas, he may not be able to command quite as much money as he hoped.

Martin potentially leaving would have been big for Biadasz' leverage — with the team scrambling to keep some continuity on the offensive line.

Biadasz wasn't quite as good as his Pro Bowl nod might have had some people believe last year though (his Pro Football Focus overall grade fell to 61.7), and suddenly the Cowboys may decide to play hardball and hope that they can make due with a less expensive option plugged in next to Martin next year.
