2. Ty Dellandrea, C

Much like Faksa, Ty Dellandrea has seen his fair share of struggles throughout the 2023-24 campaign.

After racking up nine goals and 28 points last season, the 23-year-old center only has one goal and three points through 21 outings this time around. His regression has also resulted in his being a healthy scratch eight times after not missing a single contest in 2022-23.

At this point, it doesn't look like Dellandrea is a good fit for Peter DeBoer's lineup. Even when he does suit up, he's typically stuck on the fourth line, which isn't exactly a role fans envisioned him in when the Stars drafted the Toronto, ON native 13th overall in 2018.

Even though Dellandrea is still young enough to turn things around, it wouldn't be surprising if the Stars traded him before the deadline. He's a restricted free agent at the end of the year, so I could see a team willing to take a swing on him if they believe in his potential. Furthermore, he could be used as a sweetener to bring in a more established player in a trade.

Dellandrea is better than he's shown this season, so it's up for him to prove that if he wants to end the year in Dallas.
