2. DE Randy Gregory

Cowboys fans have (mostly) fond memories of Randy Gregory's time in the Lone Star State. Drafted 60th overall in 2015, Gregory went on to play 50 games with the famous star on his helmet, amassing 64 solo tackles, 16.5 sacks, eight forced fumbles, and one interception despite dealing with multiple suspensions.

Unfortunately, the team and players had somewhat of a messy split in 2022. Just when it looked like Gregory was going to stay in Dallas for another five years, things fell apart after Gregory disagreed with certain "salary-forfeiture language" in the contract, resulting in his signing a five-year, $70 million deal with the Denver Broncos.

Gregory's time in the Mile High City didn't last long, though. Amid reports that the Broncos were planning on releasing him due to a lackluster start to the 2023 campaign, Gregory was traded to the San Francisco 49ers in exchanged for a 2024 seventh-round pick. The Jacksonville, FL native went on to record 10 solo tackles and 2.5 sacks in 12 games with the 49ers before mostly being invisible in the playoffs.

Gregory's contract expired at the end of the playoffs and he still remains a free agent to this day. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like many teams are calling his number. CBS Sports' Josina Anderson reported that the Seattle Seahawks were interested in Gregory's services, however, that was on March 19 and there haven't been any developments since then.

Gregory, 31, has worked hard to turn his career around, leaving time to tell if another team will be willing to give him a chance this offseason.
