2. Michael Gallup, WR

The Dallas Cowboys released WR Michael Gallup after six years with the team. Gallup tore his ACL during the 2021 campaign and has struggled since then to fully rebound. Even after the injury, the 28-year-old inked a five-year, $57.5 million deal in Dallas.

Gallup may not be a No. 1 or No. 2 receiver but he can still be a productive element of a passing attack. The Colorado State product brings plenty of effort as a blocker in the run game and has the ability to produce at this level.

In his six-year career, Gallup has recorded 266 receptions for 3,744 receiving yards, and 21 touchdowns. Unfortunately for him, the former third-round pick hasn't notched 450-plus receiving yards since the injury.

He's visited the Carolina Panthers and the Baltimore Ravens in free agency but nothing has materialized.

In 2023, Gallup finished with a PFF grade of 61.5 and had an 80.8 passer rating when targeted.

The injury concern is certainly a factor in why Gallup is still on the open market. Additionally, the NFL Draft is next month and the WR class is loaded. Teams around the league may want to draft their own playmaker instead of dishing out funds to sign a receiver who hasn't looked the same in a few years.
