The Dallas Cowboys have been extremely quiet throughout this offseason. They haven't made any serious moves but have seen the likes of Dan Quinn, Tyron Smith, and Tony Pollard leave town.

Although they haven't made any splash signings, there are a couple of solid options still available on the open market.

Below we'll discuss three former Pro Bowlers the Cowboys should bring in from free agency.

1. Ezekiel Elliott, RB

This is an addition that would bring smiles to the faces of the Cowboys fanbase. Dallas has a clear need at running back and bringing back Elliott would be a smart move to make.

The Cowboys initially released Elliott in 2023 due to his cap hit but that number has significantly dropped. The former Ohio State standout may not have the same long speed he had early in his career but he still can be a productive tailback.

In 2023 with the New England Patriots, Elliott racked up 642 rushing yards, 313 receiving yards, and five total scores.

As the RB2 with the Pats, Elliott showcased his ability to still make an impact on the field. With a clear hole at tailback, the 28-year-old makes a ton of sense.

The Cowboys need to bring him back to the Lone Star State and be a factor in the offense. He doesn't need to be prime Zeke but become a quality ball-carrier in the backfield.

In seven seasons with Dallas, Elliott had 8,262 rushing yards, 2,336 receiving yards, and 80 total scores.
